• “Manthan – A wake up call”, a personality development program for the students was organised on 08th May, 2010. Our distinguished guests of this program were Dr. R.D. Singh (Director, N.I.H. Roorkee), Lt. Gen. Jagmohan Singh Rawat, Col. K.S. Rawat, Rajeev Dixit (National Gen. Sec., Bharat Swabhiman Trust), Mr. Ashok & Mrs. Mala Chauhan (Manager & Principal, Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School), Mr. Mayank Gupta (President, KSET), Mr. Cherub Jain (Chairman, Phonics  College). Col. Rawat inspired the students and gave valuable tips regarding the preparation for defense services and Mr. Rajeev Dixit gave a lecture on personality development to the youth.
• ​​ ​"Kavya Sandhya (Abhivyakti)"​​​​​​​​​​​​   ​was also arranged at N.I.H. Auditorium, Roorkee in order to celebrate Munshi  Prem Chand Jayanti on 31st July. Mr. Gajendra Solanki, International fame poet from Delhi was our Chief Guest and Mr. Harish Chand Kandpal, the then SDM Roorkee presided the program.

• “Kavya Gosthi” at Unique Chemistry Classes was arranged at the eve of Teacher’s Day in which eminent poets from Roorkee participated. This program was headed by Tejpal Singh Panwar (State Minister, Uttarakhand)

• First K C Sharma Memorial State Athletic Meet at B.E.G. Ground Roorkee was organised on 13th and 14th November 2010 This competition was approved by Uttarakhand State Athletic Association of Uttarakhand.on the basis of this meet State Athletic Team was selected which participated in national Athletic Championship held at Bangaluru on 2nd December, 2010.Two athletes of Roorkee region got selected for the national championship after competing in this meet.
• Mr. Praveen Kumar (Gold medallist, Discuss throw, Asiad, Famous as Bheem in Mahabharata), was the chief guest and Mr. Bheem singh (Arjuna Awardee, Gold Medallist 1968 Asiad High jump) was the guest of honour on the first day of the event. Mr. Narayan Singh Rana (Ex-Sports Minister, Uttrakhand State) was the chief guest on the second day. Near about 300 Athletes from all over Uttrakhand participated in this meet.

• First Roorkee Gold Cup ( Shooting)  Lakshay Sandhan Shooting range and a shooting  camp of seven days was inaugurated by District Magistrate Mr. Minakshi Sundaram on 5th may 2011.And on 8th May ‘Roorkee Gold Cup’ was organised in which students from different schools of roorkee  participated, along with State level players of Uttrakhand. In which Mr.Vivek Kumar (Junior.Asian & Worldcup Champion ‘In 10mts Air Pistol event ’)won the  trophy of Senior category,whereas Junior category trophy was won by Mas.Pulkit Saini (Student A.B.N School ,Roorkee). Prize Distribution Was Done By- Mr Narayan Singh Rana (President sports Council Uttrakhand).

• Udaan-2012 This year in 2012 we have organised a programm Udaan-2012,a pre-board assessment test series for class 12th CBSE Board,to Boost up the confidence of students before their board exams.Students of various schools of Roorkee participated in it.



                         Krishnanchal’s Roorkee Marathon – 2012







• Now this year  we have decided to organize something bigger i.e. Marathon Roorkee 2012  and in Roorkee. This event will aim to develop interest in Sports and Health awareness among the natives of Roorkee, well known for thier educational achievements.

• Marathon Eve On 8th December 2012
• Live performance by ‘Hometown Band SWARRVEDA’ with their debut album release and      Performanes by the students of different school from Roorkee.
• Roorkee Marathon  On 9th December 2012.

• International fame Wrestler Mr.Sushil Kumar ( Silver Medallist London Olympics 2012 )have  given us their kind consent for his presence as a Chief Guest and we are also trying to invite renowned Sports personalities of Uttrakhand.

• In this way we are trying to make this event a mega celebration for all the sports fraternity.

• Eminent people of Roorkee and outside have given their kind consent and valuable guidance to kindle this endeavour.

Mrs.Sunita Godara (Member Of Organising Cmt.Of Various National & International Marathons),

Mr.Ramesh Kharakhwal (Atheletic Coach S.A.I) along with experienced officials.​
