Entry Rules And Regulations.

Only one applicant can apply for the Event using a single form. Also, do not send in more than one entry per person; multiple applications will entail all being rejected.


 

Applicants must submit their entries only via the Application Modes. Please note, no individual/group has been authorised to collect entries on behalf of the Event.


 

Group applications:
 

Where 20 or more individuals submit their entries together, this will constitute a group entry. All members of a group have to fill and sign individual application forms. Under 'Application Type' in the application form, applicants need to choose 'Group', mentioning the group name and size of the group;


 

Each group must submit their entries together at one time, in a single envelope under a covering letter stating -

  • ​Total number of entries enclosed in each race category,
  • Number, date, amount and bank name of cheque/DD submitted,
  • Name and contact details of one common point of contact for the group;
  • Group entries will be accepted only via the physical modes of registration. Applications made online cannot be treated as group entries.


 

Individual applications: One representative can submit application forms for maximum 10 individual runners for Half Marathon race category.


 

NO GROUP ENTRIES will be accepted for the Half Marathon race category.
 

Before sending in your application, please check the following -


 

Filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with '*' in the application form;
 

Attached documents as may be required to confirm your entry based on the confirmation preference criteria(applicable for half marathon race category)
 

Attached a copy of your latest passport sized photograph with your application;
 

Attached a copy of your Govt. issued Photo ID proof, i.e. either Passport, Driving license, Election Card, Pan Card or Aadhaar card;
 

Enclosed the requisite application fees
 

Signed the 'waiver' in the form;


 

If applying for the Great Delhi Run â€‹and where the applicant is below 18 years of age, the guardian too has signed the 'waiver' and written his/her relation with the applicant.

Applicant meets the minimum age eligibility criteria for the chosen race category.


 

Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above mentioned mandatories, your application will be rejected.


 

On entry confirmation, half marathon runners will be further classified into age categories for prize money. For details on awards and accolades, click here


 

Acceptance Letters: Physical acceptance letters and event information will be posted ONLY to those applicants who have not given their email address in the application form. It is recommended that Wheelchair Event participants be accompanied by an attendant on race day. The attendant is required to fill in a separate form and submit the same along with the form of the wheelchair event participant, marking the said form as "Attendant of _______ (name of wheelchair event participant)". No entry fee will be charged for the attendant.
 

Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge: Participation in the Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge (21.097 Km) is open only for universities and colleges of Delhi & NCR. Duly filled application forms of 3 boys / 3 girls of the college need to be submitted together under a covering letter of the university/college. One college can field up to 2 teams (one boys' team and/or one girls' team) under the Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge. The application forms and the covering letter need to be submitted at our Registration office in B-215, Ground floor, Side Entrance, Lajpat Nagar-1, New Delhi- 110024, near Krishna Market (timing: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm). A college team cannot register for the Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge online. Entry into this race category is subject to Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge Rules & Regulations available on the website: www.procamrunning.in.
 

Application Status: Applicants can check status of their application online post 31st July 2012.
 

Line-up Section in Half Marathon race category: This is based on the finish time appearing on the timing certificate submitted by you at the time of application. It cannot be changed post receiving entry confirmation from registration team.
 

Entries not accepted: Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your entry is not confirmed for any reason, the application fees paid by you will be refunded on or before 30th October 2012. An amount of Rs. 50 will be deducted as processing charges. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event Registration Team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 15th November 2012.
 

Requests for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.
 

All confirmed participants/their authorised representatives are required to come to the Expo scheduled at NSIC exhibition complex, Gate No. 3 & 4, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-III, Outer ring road, New Delhi-110020 near Govind Puri metro station, from Friday, 21st September to Sunday, 23rd September 2012, between 11 am and 7 pm in order to collect their running number bibs and timing chips. No running number or timing chip will be posted to individual mailing addresses.
 

It is mandatory for a Half Marathon (incl. Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge) participant to collect his/her running number & timing chip personally from the Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such runner can send his/her representative to collect running number bib and timing chip on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib and chip on behalf of more than ONE Half Marathon participant.
 

Authorised representative must carry with him/her -
 

Printout of the email confirmation sent by us / printout of website confirmation/ original acceptance letter,
 

Signed authority letter from confirmed participant,
 

Photocopy of photo-identity proof (of the representative and the confirmed participant), eg. either Passport, PAN card, Election card, Driving license or Aadhaar card.
 

Outstation runners can also collect the running number BIB and timing chip (in case of Half Marathon/Inter-Collegiate Sporting Challenge race category) from the BIB distribution counter at our Event venue in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Gate No. 14, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Marg, near JLNS Metro Station, New Delhi - 110003 on Saturday, 29th September 2012, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
 

Individual entries: One representative can collect maximum 10 running number BIBs from the expo on behalf of the Great Delhi Run individual runners with all the above mentioned documents.
 

Confirmed participant's identity and proof of residence might be verified by a verification agency hired for validating the details provided in the application form.
 

Confirmation of applications received will be subject to Entry Rules & Guidelines given herein. Confirmation of half marathon applications will also be subject to the Confirmation Preference Criteria
 

All Half Marathon participants' race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participant is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that BIB will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2013.
 

The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to an applicant is at the sole discretion of the event Promoters, Procam International Ltd., and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.
